Service Availability

Factors including weather conditions, high call volume, parts availability, and technician availability may affect response and completion times.

Right to Refuse Service

We also reserve the right to stop work mid-service if conditions at the property change in a way that makes continuing unsafe.

Estimates & Pricing

Free On-Site Estimates

We provide free on-site estimates for all garage door repair and replacement services. An estimate requires a technician to visit your property and inspect the door system before we can provide an accurate cost for the repair.

Written Quotes

We provide written quotes before beginning any repair work. The written quote covers the full cost of the repair — including parts and labor — based on the technician’s on-site assessment. We do not begin any work without your explicit approval of the written quote.

Quote Accuracy

Our written quotes are based on the technician’s assessment of the visible and accessible components of your garage door system at the time of the estimate. If the technician discovers additional damage or required repairs during the course of the work that were not visible or accessible during the initial assessment, we stop work and provide an updated quote for your approval before proceeding.

Price Changes

Once you approve a written quote and work begins, we honor that quote for the scope of work described. We do not add charges for work already included in the approved quote. Additional work beyond the original scope requires a new written quote and your approval before we proceed.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless other payment arrangements are agreed upon in writing before work begins. We accept cash, major credit cards, and checks. Returned checks may be subject to a returned check fee in accordance with Colorado state law.

Warranties & Guarantees

Parts Warranty

All parts we install carry the manufacturer’s warranty for that specific part. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and part type. We provide you with warranty documentation for all parts installed during your service visit upon request.

Labor Warranty

All labor we perform carries our workmanship guarantee. If a repair we completed fails due to faulty workmanship within the warranty period, we return to your property and correct the issue at no additional cost to you.

Warranty Exclusions

Our labor warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper operation of the garage door system after our repair
  • Damage caused by accidents, vehicle impact, weather events, or other external forces after our repair
  • Normal wear and tear on parts beyond the repaired component
  • Issues unrelated to the specific repair we performed
  • Damage resulting from modifications made to the door system by anyone other than our technicians after our repair

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us by phone at (719) XXX-XXXX within the warranty period and describe the issue. We schedule a return visit to assess the problem and determine whether it falls within the warranty coverage. We make that determination honestly and in good faith.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer scheduling or receiving garage door repair services, you agree to the following responsibilities:

Safe Access to the Property

You are responsible for providing our technicians with safe and reasonable access to your property and your garage door system. This includes ensuring that the area around the garage door is clear of vehicles, equipment, and other obstacles that would prevent the technician from working safely.

Accurate Information

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property address, the nature of the garage door problem, and any relevant history of previous repairs or modifications to the door system. Inaccurate information may affect the accuracy of our estimate and the effectiveness of the repair.

Presence During Service

We recommend that an adult over the age of 18 be present at the property during the service visit to approve the written quote, observe the work, and receive the post-service walkthrough. If you cannot be present, you must designate an authorized representative who can approve work and payment on your behalf.

Property Condition

You are responsible for disclosing any known structural issues, hazardous conditions, or access limitations at your property that could affect our technician’s safety or ability to complete the repair. We reserve the right to stop work if we discover undisclosed conditions that make continuing unsafe.

Payment Obligation

You are responsible for paying the full amount of the approved written quote upon completion of the service. If payment is not received at the time of service completion, we reserve the right to pursue collection through appropriate legal channels in accordance with Colorado state law.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customer Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled service appointment at any time before the technician arrives at your property without penalty. We ask that you provide as much advance notice as possible so we can adjust our schedule and dispatch technicians to other customers efficiently.

Same-Day Cancellations

If you cancel a scheduled appointment after the technician has already departed for your property, we may charge a trip fee to cover the technician’s travel time and fuel cost. We will inform you of any applicable trip fee at the time you cancel.

Emergency Service Cancellations

Emergency service calls that are cancelled after dispatch may be subject to a trip fee. We inform you of any applicable fees before confirming the cancellation.

Our Right to Cancel or Reschedule

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule service appointments due to circumstances beyond our control — including extreme weather conditions, technician emergencies, parts unavailability, or other unforeseen events. We notify you as promptly as possible when we need to cancel or reschedule and work to find the earliest possible alternative appointment time.

Limitation of Liability

Scope of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our garage door repair services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from our services or your use of our website.

Property Damage

We take every reasonable precaution to protect your property during service visits. Our technicians work carefully and professionally to avoid causing damage to your garage, your vehicles, and the surrounding area. In the unlikely event that our technician causes damage to your property through negligence during a service visit, we address the damage through our insurance coverage.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your property, your garage door system, or surrounding structures that was present before our technician arrived.

Consequential Damages

We are not liable for any consequential damages arising from a garage door failure — including but not limited to damage to vehicles, property, or stored items caused by a garage door that fails before, during, or after our service visit. We are not liable for losses arising from your inability to access your garage or home due to a garage door failure.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including extreme weather events, natural disasters, power outages, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, or other force majeure events.

Insurance & Licensing

We maintain all required licensing and insurance coverage for garage door repair services in the state of Colorado and El Paso County. Our technicians operate under our company’s licensing and insurance coverage.

Our insurance coverage includes general liability insurance that protects your property in the event of damage caused by our technicians during a service visit. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from these terms or from our garage door repair services that cannot be resolved through good faith negotiation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of El Paso County, Colorado.

Mediation

Before pursuing formal legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation with a mutually agreed-upon mediator in El Paso County, Colorado. The costs of mediation will be shared equally between the parties unless the mediator determines otherwise.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless our company and our technicians from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your provision of inaccurate information that affects the delivery of our services.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and our company regarding your use of our website and your engagement of our garage door repair services. These terms supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings between the parties regarding the subject matter covered here.
